Huge congratulations to our client The Old Boat House Food Group whose Amble venue The Old Boat House has won ‘Coastal Fish Restaurant of the Year’ in the 2017 Fishing News Awards for the second year running.
The restaurant was the only venue in the North of England to be nominated in the awards with competition from top restaurants all over the UK.
The prestigious award recognises restaurants that have shown outstanding support for the commercial fishing industry in their local area.
Everything is my Design were asked by the group to created a multi-channel promotional campaign to raise awareness of The Old Boat House’s nomination and to further celebrate it’s excellent work as a leading light in seafood sustainability and as a creator of much needed opportunities for young people in the Northumberland region.
A diverse and overarching strategy ensured maximum coverage over a four week campaign period. Competitions and promotions were ran on social media in conjunction with newsletter sign up discounts and tailored newsletters to inform The Old Boat House’s audience of the prestigious nomination. On site POS was implemented across all of the Old Boat House Food Group’s venues.
A social media campaign promoting the values and achievements of The Old Boat House was created which informed the audience of the group’s commitment to sustainability, North East tourism and investing in talent. A website landing page was also implemented to drive traffic to the voting page.
We gained considerable PR coverage for The Old Boat House in a number of local and national publications both in print and online including follow up PR when the award was won. This included pieces in Chronicle, Northumberland Gazette and Bdaily.
